The Ethel P. Jivers Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit and was established in honor of the virtuous Ethel P. Jivers. Ethel had a passion for senior citizens and a desire to encourage the younger generation to excel and reach beyond the stars.
Ethel’s life was the epitome of Maya Angelou’s quote “I have learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Ethel made everyone feel that their life was purposeful. While battling cancer, Ethel still thought about the happiness and wellbeing of others. It is with that thought in mind that the Ethel P. Jivers Foundation was born.

The Mission of the Ethel P. Jivers Foundation is to enhance the welfare of the elderly by providing nutritional balanced meals, offering educational awareness and support to individuals with Breast Cancer, and helping students seeking higher education obtain gainful resources.
